My Exit Strategy

My exit strategy will be to develop my business and incorporate my family after my business becomes successful. I will then retire and pass my company to the future generation of my family. I have decided to go with this strategy because I want my business to carry on for a long time and, at the same time, provide my family with an income source. My exit strategy hasn’t influenced my previous business concepts, but I do believe it will influence the way I do business in the future. When I start doing business with my family, I am most likely going to start choosing products based on their preferences and not mine. New services or products added to my company will have their input. The business concepts have to be something they are interested in when I retire.

  1. Arielle,

I really respect your decision to keep your business venture in the family in order to ensure they have a source of income. This is a really selfless idea that you will make business decisions based on your family's wants and needs. Overall, good job on this assignment! My exit strategy was different from yours because I chose to sell my idea to someone who has more knowledge in technology and app-making. 2. Arielle,
I went back in your previous posts, and I really like your idea, and I respect the fact that you want to pass it down to your family. Although for me, I am planning on selling my business in the decade because I think this is just a stepping stone for me so I can start another profitable business. I appreciate the fact that you said although it hasn't impacted your current business plan, it will affect your future business plans because you will put your family's preferences above yours. I said, rather, that my exit strategy has influenced my business concept because my idea is on the forefront of the technological age, and I believe that if I don't try and grow my product as quick as possible, then it will probably be taken over.

  3. Arielle,
I respect your decision to want to pass down your business venture to future generations in your family. One of my exit strategies is similar to this because I want my restaurant/tiki bar to be family owned in the small and family-oriented town of Melbourne, Florida. I cannot imagine myself living anywhere else and hopefully my kids and their kids feel the same way, or at least one of them. 4. Hey Arielle,
I admire the fact that through your success, you thought of your family. Sometimes one gets really caught up in the fact that they are succeeding and one can become really selfish over that fact. You inspire many people and I hope that your company thrives in the future. Wish yo the best of luck in all your future endeavors. Way to go!
